Welcome to Beech!
We are a friendly, positive and hardworking class of year 2 children. We love learning and strive to do our best in all we do. We love working as part of a team and show care and compassion to everyone in our lovely school.
Our class teacher is Miss Wright. We also have a number of lovely Teaching Assistants who will be supporting us in our learning: Mrs Trafford, Mrs Otto, Mrs Dell and Mrs Pritorian.
During the year we will be study many exciting topics. We like to go on visits to support our learning and plan to have visitors and special days in school in order to bring our topics to life.
P.E. takes place twice weekly and is a valuable part of our curriculum. Please ensure that your child has their P.E. kit and water bottle with them in school at all times.
It is important that you read with your child at least 5 times per week and that you bring the reading journals into school every Monday so they can be checked and if your child has 5 reads they can put a raffle ticket in the jar. Your child can change their books whenever they have finished them and the best time to do this is during our early morning work.
