Beech (Y2)

Welcome to Beech Class!

We have 29 kind, joyful and enthusiastic children in our class. We are always keen to chat and share our knowledge with others in our class and in the rest of the school. We are a wonderful team and work well together during lessons as well as outside of the classroom, during break time or PE sessions.

We are taught by Mrs Ealden Monday – Wednesday and Mrs Keizer from  Wednesday – Friday. Every other Wednesday afternoon we are taught by Mrs Otoo. Our teaching assistants are Mrs Keizer, Mrs Butler and Miss Llewellyn.

We have our PE session on a Wednesday afternoon, so please make sure to come to school in your PE kit - you will not be able to take part without it!

We love to read in Beech Class and have regular, whole-class conversations about the books that we are reading at the moment. Please make sure to read at home at least five times a week and don't forget to bring your school book and reading diary to school every day. We change the children’s reading books on a Tuesday and Friday so please detail your children’s reading activity in their reading folders so that they can come home with new books each week.

Please practise your times tables on Times Table Rockstars at least three times a week:

If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will check the class email address twice a week, but if you have an urgent question, please email the office and they will pass it on!

Thank you for your support,

Mrs Ealden and Mrs Keizer
