Sports Premium

The dedicated 'Primary PE and Sport Premium', which was announced in the Spring of 2013 and began the following September, goes directly to primary school Headteachers so that they can decide how best to use it to improving the quality of PE and school sport for all their children. The sport funding can only be spent on sport and PE provision in schools. OFSTED will play a significant role in ensuring that schools target this funding in areas which will lead to clear outcomes in raising standards and opportunities in PE and school sport for all children throughout the Primary Phase. The PE and Sport Premium is being jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, sees schools receive an £8,000 lump sum, plus £10 per pupil on roll.

A summary of the ways in which the PE and Sport Premium has been spent at Shrivenham is detailed in the documents below.
