Harvest Festival 2022
It was lovely to be back at St. Andrew’s church for our School Harvest Festival service last Friday after such a long time. The children, parents and teaching staff were touched by our Vicar’s warm welcome, who led the service and blessed us all with her readings and prayers. The children sang beautifully, and we all felt the spirit of community with our families’ generous donations, which went to the Food Bank and the Women’s Refuge. True to our Christian ethos and values, we at Shrivenham C of E school are very proud of our small school community which has in its heart the love for one another, as Jesus Christ has taught us. The children produced some exquisite Artwork which has been displayed at St. Andrew’s church, creating a beautiful Art Harvest exhibition. We would like to thank you all and wish you a Happy Harvest.
