Class Gallery

Oh Thursday 8th June, Sycamore Class travelled into Oxford to complete the Junior Citizens course at Rewley Road Fire Station.

We completed lots of different scenarios that included, how to make a 999 call for the emergency services, how to locate the information that the emergency services need and how to make ourselves safe.  Everyone had a great time and learnt a great deal.  At the end of it, everyone felt that if they found an injured person, or there was a fire, they would feel far more confident in knowing what they needed to do.

Afterwards we walked to Christchurch Meadow, located next to Christchurch college.  We discovered where Lewis Carroll taught in Oxford and where part of the Harry Potter films was made.

We then had a great picnic, met some cows and played.
