Residential March 2024
Please find below the information regarding the Year 5 residential.
All arrived safely and enjoyed our welcome games before lunch. After lunch we went to our first activities Mission X and Aeroball. Lots of laughter and support given to each other to get around the courses and score as many goals as possible.
We went to our rooms and made our beds ready for tonight, before enjoying a lovely dinner of chicken nuggets, chips and peas. Our evening activity was campfire games and all finished with hot chocolate.

What a wonderful day we have had!
We started the day with bacon sandwiches for breakfast before moving on to our morning activities. The groups this morning enjoyed body zorbing and climbing Jacob’s Ladder. Everyone pushed themselves to climb as high as possible and team work really was the name of the game.
After lunchtime the rain came and despite being soggy, we all took part in scooters and skateboards as well as archery. Not sure Robin Hood needs to be worried just yet but we certainly enjoyed ourselves!
This evening has been a celebration of our time at Grittleton! We enjoyed music and party games before a relaxing hot chocolate and bedtime.
