Curriculum Ambassadors

Curriculum Ambassadors

The role of a curriculum ambassador is to support the subject coordinator with the monitoring and development of their area. Every child in the school was invited to write a letter of application to explain why they would be a good addition to the team. They had to think about their skills and attributes and how these would help them be an amazing ambassador.

Each ambassador has a designated subject area and works closely with the coordinator of this subject area to ensure that all of the children in Shrivenham Primary School have the opportunity to achieve in all subject areas.

They also work together to ensure that Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development takes place in all subject areas, supporting our subject leaders with things such as learning walks, observations, pupil interviews and theme days/weeks.

Mrs Clare manages the Curriculum Ambassadors and helps them to link with the Subject Leaders. They have regular meetings to review what has been going on in their subject areas and to decide what the next steps are!

By working together, all of us are aiming to improve each curriculum area so that everyone enjoys learning and standards continue to rise.
