Sycamore Class World War II Day. We had a brilliant day dressing up as children from World War II. First we entered our classroom that had been changed into a 1940's classroom, then we re-enacted being evacuated. We looked at some fabulous artifacts that some of us had brought in and then we made Gas Masks! We made an eggless cake, danced the Lambeth Walk and then played some games from that era. Altogether, we had a brilliant day. Please look through our photos to see some of the fun we had.
We have had a great time recreating a rainforest diaroma. It gave us a great oppotunity to work outside in the shade of the tree.
