At Shrivenham CE Primary School, we believe that music is important both as a creative subject and an academic subject which plays a part in any child’s life. Through the teaching of music, we aim to inspire a love for music and develop our learners’ talents as musicians. Music offers our learners the opportunities to increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement. We provide the children with the opportunities to listen to, compose and perform music that is linked with learning about a range of topics.
